Thomas Jefferson University’s innovative academic facility sets a new paradigm in healthcare education, by facilitating team-based collaboration among healthcare professionals and scientists.
The lighting design for this seven-story, 110,000 SF facility emphasizes this spirit of openness and collaboration. Exterior lighting accentuates the curved building façade which embraces the new public plaza. Fluorescent wall washes and glowing pendants in the lobby provide an inviting welcome to the facility. Fluorescent slots and wall washes in the auditorium, dimmable for various AV and teaching requirements, create a luminous surround that facilitates interaction and collaboration.
