The addition of the Pavilion for Women to Texas Children’s Hospital allows TCH to provide a full continuum of care for mothers and their babies. Soft luminous curves and decorative accents welcome mothers and their families to the new facility. A new sweeping circular bridge over Fannin Street connects the Women’s Pavilion to the main hospital. Internally illuminated bridge columns delineate the circular form and provide a visual connection at night. TLP’s scope also included lighting for the four-level parking garage, entrance canopies, interior public spaces, conference center, servery and cafeteria.
