Experience:

Jered Widmer joined The Lighting Practice in 2001 upon graduation from The Pennsylvania State University. He has been designing architectural lighting for corporate, retail, historic, hospitality, healthcare, educational and campus master plans.  The diverse work in these sectors allows him to merge creative principles and techniques to enhance the user environment for a more successful project.  He educates clients and team members through a collaborative design process, facilitating a better understanding of the impact of lighting. 

Jered has also served eight years as an adjunct professor at Drexel University, educating architectural students on lighting.  He is a member of the IES Progress Committee which reviews and reports on the changing landscape and advancements of lighting technology
