Why did you become a lighting designer?
I like to work with the intangible. We only experience light when there are objects for it to fall on.
What is your favorite computer program? Why?
Of the ones, I use regularly, probably AGi. It is the closest thing we have to accurately model and determine the performance of light in a space.
What advice would you pass on to future lighting designers?
Don’t be afraid to bring design ideas to the table or to question those you have been given.
If you could only have one mode of transportation for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The real question is a road bike or mountain bike. I’m not sure I could choose though.
