This summer, The Lighting Practice has been delighted to have two Lighting Design Interns join our team. Through this internship, Lisa and Joe have been able to learn the day-to-day responsibilities of lighting designers, understand more in-depth technical knowledge, and pursue their passion for design.
Lisa Han
Lisa Han is pursuing a Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering at Pennsylvania State University and is interning in The Lighting Practice’s New York office. At Penn State, Lisa is the Vice President for both the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Student Chapter and the International Student Council. When she is not interning at The Lighting Practice or studying Architectural Engineering, Lisa enjoys traveling, seeing new places, meeting new people and trying foods from around the world.
Joe Rici
Joe Ricci is studying Architectural Engineering with a focus in Lighting/Electrical at Pennsylvania State University and is interning in The Lighting Practice’s Philadelphia office. He is a member of Penn State’s Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Student Chapter and the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE). In his free time, Joe loves to watch movies, hit the gym or go out on a run.
