The Lighting Practice (TLP) is thrilled to announce the promotion of David Seok to Associate. He has shown his commitment and dedication to our team, design excellence, and our clients.
David Seok, CLD, IALD – Associate
David Seok joined The Lighting Practice in 2014. David’s project work includes corporate, education, mixed-use developments, hospitality and entertainment environments. His passion for design and urban redevelopment has led him to volunteer with Community Design Collaborative and participate in DesignPhiladelphia’s 2015 Pearl Street Passage installation project. David was recognized for his leadership in lighting design as one of Light Collective’s 40under40 class of 2021.
“David has a passion and strength in business development and client engagement, and we’re excited about his future with the firm”, says TLP President Michael Barber, “His commitment extends beyond The Lighting Practice to the broader lighting community. David’s involvement with the Asian Lighting Community and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) reflects his passion for educating and advancing the lighting design profession”.
As Associate, David will uphold The Lighting Practice’s design and customer service standards while furthering our mission to take ordinary spaces and make them extraordinary. TLP is proud of David, his talents have enhanced The Lighting Practice’s team and the lighting design community at large.
