Genesis Women’s Shelter in Dallas, TX was designed with simple, sleek lighting to provide a more comfortable environment. Providing services for women and children affected by domestic abuse. The three-story building contains legal and fundraising offices, counseling rooms, staff amenities, waiting rooms, and more, to support the shelter’s mission, clients, and staff. The Lighting Practice designed the space to feel comforting and inviting, with simple, sleek lighting. Tunable white was utilized in the counseling rooms to provide a more comfortable, residential-like environment for people seeking support.
