The former Philadelphia Four Seasons has been renovated into The Logan Philadelphia, a modern hotel enhancing guest experience with a spa, restaurant terraces, ballrooms and a rooftop bar. The Lighting Practice was tasked with designing a lighting system that would exemplify The Logan’s high-end, contemporary retake.
TLP’s design guides guests along the main entry, reception and elevator lobby to their rooms. Dimming capabilities throughout the various spaces allow lighting levels to be modulated according to the time of day and the type of event taking place. While the lighting system remains consistent throughout the hotel, each space provides its own customized experience. Dimmable LED lighting in the spa creates a soothing environment to aid in relaxation, whereas more intense lighting in the fitness areas support the higher level of activity in these areas. Pools of light accent key areas on the new rooftop Assembly Bar without obstructing the view of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
