The University of Delaware Tower at STAR is a 10-story building where The College of Health Sciences occupies the 2nd through 7th floors, and the remaining space is reserved for various private companies, amenities, and student resources. The Tower strives to promote collaboration amongst students, healthcare partners and businesses alike. The Lighting Practice was tasked with lighting the building’s façade, exterior entry canopies and landscape features, connector atrium, and providing peer review services to the main building lobby. What resulted is ambient lighting designed to compliment natural elements, while providing clarity in a space of higher learning.
