St. Johns Town Center in Florida, Springfield Town Center Virginia, and Fayette Mall in Kentucky were the three TLP projects that were honored.
Springfield Town Center
The new owners of Springfield Town Center decided to upgrade and reposition the mall’s 700,000 GLA as a fashion destination for an upscale demographic. The work includes redesigned concourses and courts, a newly expanded center court, new exterior entries, and a new cinema and expanded food court. TLP provided interior and exterior lighting design for all public areas.
St. Johns Town Center
TLP served as the lighting designers for the original development as well as Phase 2 and 3 expansions of this open-air retail center in the suburbs of Jacksonville. The 180,000 SF expansion includes major anchor Nordstrom. The lighting design approach creates a clean, modern aesthetic, adding drama and ambiance to highlight the high- end retailers.
Fayette Mall
The renovations to Fayette Mall not only improved foot traffic flow and created a more cohesive shopping experience, but it also facilitated the entry of new, higher-end tenants. Portions of the second floor were removed to open views of the upper level, and outward-facing shops and restaurants were added to create a more engaging, streetscape-type exterior. TLP supported the new, vibrant ambiance that has greatly improved the customer experience.
