These professionals bring together their ideas, knowledge, and talents to transform ordinary spaces into captivating and memorable places. TLP’s Dallas office is excited to welcome Jacob Hughes.
Jacob Hughes – Designer
Jacob joined The Lighting Practice in 2022 as a Designer, where he coordinates with allied team members, assisting with documentation of design and performing construction administration tasks. Jacob graduated from University of Maryland, College Park & Baylor University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Design and Technology, and a Master of Fine Arts in Theater Design. He has a certification in ETC EOS Level 3 Programming and has previous experience with lighting through dance, theatre, opera, film/photography, and events. Jacob’s favorite aspect of light is the revelation of form it allows and attributes his inspiration to become a lighting designer from A Black-Eyed Peas Concert and the Beijing Olympic Open Ceremony.
